Our home is bursting with Christmas happiness!

Setting up our Christmas that Miss Myla let us borrow :)

At my pleading, everyone came out to help set up the tree :)

Even Kadian, who loves to smite me (all out of love, of course) lol. She didn't really do anything cept stand and look cute for a picture.

Cia working on the branches

I love Christmas :)

Our entertainment center finally looks full. My snowflakes hanging, cards from Nelly's students, Santa from Mia, candy canes from Steven's grandparents, decorative cloth from my grandparents, beaded chain from Steven's parents--we have a lot of people to thank for making our Christmas so special already! :)

Hanging picture frames from Lisa& family, more beaded crafts, ribbon and tree from Miss Myla, and "presents" left over from preschool decorations. Hey, I need boxes for a school thing the first week of January, and they look pretty :) lol

Paper chains!

Cia really got into the Christmas spirit and ambitiously began decorating even more.

*cue warm and fuzzy feelings* There was a lot of Ooo-ing and Aw-ing going on when we finally turned on the lights.

:) Merry Christmas

Maranatha Christmas Program 2010

All dolled up and ready to go out.

Awww! Some of the first grade girls. So adorable!

But THIS made my night. My little pre-k students looked so precious. I couldn't stop aw-ing over them and exclaiming, "Que preciosos, que lindos!"

I think this picture will make me smile. Forever.

Aren't they just too cute?

Then I saw my kindergarten kids and the aw-ing and exclamations started all over again.

Pre-k singing "Feliz Navidad"

Kindergarten :)

Luis & Valeria, two of my prepa kids. They are cousins--but as you can see by their faces--two very different personalities ;)

Prepa singing "Let it Snow"

That place was completely full!

First grade singing "Little Drummer Boy"

Getting ready to sing our Christmas medley

We sang a little bit of "Do You Hear What I Hear?", "Oh, Holy Night", "Joy to the World", and "The First Noel".

The girls! Mel, Rosemary, me, Emily, Nelly, Cia, Kadian, Ashley

My little student named Steven came to give me a hug & I had to get a picture :)

In one of the 3rd grade classrooms

*Ooo*

My Christmas present from Diego & Dylan. If I had known how much chocolate it contained then...It wouldn't have been closed. haha :)

Miss Kadian outside of one of her classrooms

Cia and Nelly with one of their students

Surprise! :)

The classrooms were all SO decorated. Holidays are a pretty big deal around here.

This room had grass covering the entire floor and a fancy dinner set out for after the program.

Maria & I

Kadian outside of another one of her classrooms. Aren't the doors fancy?

The Hernandez boys thinking 'Mom, do we really have to get our picture taken?' So cute. Ricardo, Guillermo, and Byron

The grand finale. See the little girl in the long sleeved pink shirt on the first row? She's one of my students! Carolina. She is so sweet.

See all the streamers? Wow.

The Beginning of All Things Christmas...

Awww :). I got a Christmas bag with a big cupcake and this cute little Santa decoration from Mia, one of my cute little pre-k students.

A little Christmas cheer in my room. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa :)

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...

Even our fridge has a magnet

Absolutely adorable. My grandparents send us a little tree!
December 8th, staff Christmas dinner at El Torito

Emily, Kadian, and Fabricio (he is so funny! I think we spent half the dinner laughing)

Mel & Rosemary

Emily & Emily :)

Miss Claudia & Miss Marlen

Did Emily eat anything?? Haha :). Truth: that's Kadian's potato salad, and that piece of beef used to be about twice as big!

Emily got some Honduran souvenirs from her secret friend.

So appropriate since Comayagua is "donkey town". What a cute little burro :)
And after this dinner, the whole faculty and staff thought, "We really have classes in the morning?" We were all sooo ready for break to be here!
