Choluteca Part 2--After Church

He just jumped right in the sister picture.
A special friend.
Chris being a gentleman
Everyone has their own bag with a plate, bowl, cup, and silverware to wash after each meal. Quite handy.
After lunch, we headed off to the ocean.
Once we got to the beach, we got in boats to go to Tiger Island.
This wall was covered in barnacles!
And that over there is El Salvador. While traveling to Tiger Island, we could "see" El Salvador to one side and Nicaragua to the other.
The kids that helped man the boat had such sea legs.
Jelly fish! The man explained that it didn't hurt unless you put it on skin pores.
Everyone was pretty excited about touching the "medusa"
Bekki found a little (maybe just a piece of) jelly fish. Then she chased me down the beach with it.
She posed for a picture before going off to terrorize Shaina.
We decided to wade over to see the little cave. Kadian and I were sooo careful to keep our carpis dry on the way there. We had a bit of a scare when we noticed a nicely sized jelly fish floating nearby.
You can't tell, but there were bats here.
Inside the little cave.
As you can see, the tide was coming in. Thus all our hard work to stay dry on the way to the cave was for naught.
Loading back into the boats. We had to start heading back to the hotel to get there in time for supper. They told us it was "45 minutes away" haha. Try and a hour and a half.
Posing next to some dried fish.
